This product, as with all ZAO products, is free from talc and parabens (synthetic preservatives), using instead micronised silver as an effective and non-toxic preservative. ZAO does not use nanoparticles in their products, with the micronised silver being larger than nanoparticle size, making ZAO products safe and free from toxic chemical preservatives.
This blusher comes in a aluminium case with a cardboard sleeve, both fully recyclable. To replace, simply pop the old one out of the bamboo casing by pushing a pin through the back, the base is magnetic so the new one will pop right into place.

Did you know a lot of makeup contains quite a few toxic chemicals such as Parabens and Phthalates. These chemicals have links to health problems and can also feed problem skin. As someone who has always had problem skin I was so happy to come across Zao. This Blusher is the nicest smelling blusher I have ever come across. I think the shads are great and I personally use shade 323 as I am quite fair. What I love the most about this is that is completely plastic free and by using this refill, you are saving so much waste.
