This soap bar is a variation of the Shea Butter Soap, it shares the same moisturising base recipe, with the addition of red clay and a different, more powerful, blend of essential oils!

The shea butter and coconut oil used in our soaps are pure and organic, in addition to this, our soaps are made using the cold process method, helping to preserve the wonderful properties of our ingredients.

Thanks to its soft lather this bar can also be used as shaving soap, with or without the use of a shaving brush.

This soap bar is suitable for hands, face and body.

Properties
Olive oil: Highly moisturising and hydrating, highly penetrable, does not clog pores
Coconut oil: Moisturising, in saponified products it also helps increase lather
Shea butter: Highly nourishing and moisturising, perfect for extremely dry skin
Castor oil: High in fatty acids
Red kaolin clay: A natural clay, particularly good for normal to oily skin
Glycerin: Naturally occurring in soap, as it is a byproduct of saponification, it has great moisturising properties
5% superfat: 5% of the oils contained in this soap are unsaponified, making it much more moisturising than standard commercial soap

Please keep this soap on a soap dish and let it dry evenly to make it last longer.

This little bar will help save thousands of plastic bottles ending up in landfill or in our oceans as well as smelling amazing. One of the main reasons I decided to stock these products was because I love the transparency of this brand, it is really refreshing to work with a brand that is so open about the processes of their products and their mission to reduce waste.

About The Brand

At the beginning of 2016, I (Bianca) decided to try to create less waste after reading an article about US blogger Lauren Singer and her trash jar. Giulio decided to join me in this zero waste life attempt just a couple of months later, and when we moved in together shortly after, we committed ourselves to try to live as sustainably as we could.

One of the main drivers behind Zero Waste Path is that it is usually very hard to find information about the waste that happens before a product gets to the consumer, and this is also true for many sustainable products. We therefore decided to create a company that wasn’t zero waste and sustainable only in the final packaging, but all along the production chain. We are huge fans of transparency, and we share all of our waste, practices and decisions.

We don't outsource anything - we manufacture all of our products in our workshop, we carefully select our suppliers and take care of every aspect of what we do. This is because we prefer to have direct control over as many aspects of our company as possible, and because we want to invest every earning in making more and better products and in providing a better service to all of you! In addition to this, as both of us are vegan and zero waste (well, trying!), you know that we will spend our profits in a responsible way with a focus on sustainability, human and animal welfare!
