This award winning, reusable laundry egg is a replacement for your laundry detergent and fabric conditioner and was originally developed for people with sensitive skin. This will last 70 washes which mean it will cost 14p a wash which makes this great value for money. The Fresh Linen Eco Egg is lightly infused with natural essential oils leaving a delicate fresh scent on laundry. The Eco Egg is vegan, cruelty free and guaranteed for 10 years. Once you are finished with your pellets, you can pop them in your normal bin, they are biodegradable so will break down naturally.
How Does the Eco Egg Work?
The biodegradable surfactants in the Laundry Egg pellets lift dirt from the fabrics because one end of the surfactant’s molecule is attracted to water and the other end is attracted to dirt and grease. The surfactant molecules help water to take hold of the dirt and grease, break it up and wash it away. The other ingredients in the pellets ensure that dirt and grime in the water do not move back onto the fabrics and remain in the wash water. The black tourmaline pellets naturally ionise the water making it slightly more alkaline. Alkaline water lifts dirt better, but also softens the fibres of the clothes. Acidic water can be damaging to clothes and fibres.
To Use:
Simply fill the egg with mineral pellets and place in your washing machine on top of your laundry. The Natural mineral pellets effectively draw dirt from your laundry leaving it clean and feeling soft.
Suitable for all washing machines. Use from 15° -60°c, always check your garment label before washing.
Please note the pellets come in a PP plastic bag which is easily recyclable.
